A candidate enrolling for BA programme in KKHSOU is required to select his/her elective course after careful deliberation in 1st semester. If subsequently, a learner wants to change elective course in the 1st semester he/she should write an application (forwarded by the Study Centre) to the Registrar of the University. The last date for course change after admission (if any) will be two months from the last date of admission. For subject change a learner has to pay through SBI challan a sum of Rs. 500/- plus the cost of SLM (Rs. 75/- for undergraduate and graduate programmes; and Rs. 150/- for post-graduate programmes per booklet).

After completion of a particular semester, a learner is required to apply for next semester simply by paying the necessary fees within one month of the last examination day of the previous semester.
Admission should be taken in all Degree, Diploma and Certificate programmes without any break. For details, please refer to the Prospectus, page 5.

Admission to the M.Phil. Programme of the University will be based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance test. The entrance test will comprise two parts-

Part A :
50 marks MCQ based on research methodology;
Part B:
50 marks descriptive type in the relevant subject.

Is there any criteria for the selection of Major subject in BA programme?

The learners, who desire to pursue major in BA should select any one of the elective courses they studied in 1st and 2nd semesters.
A learner cannot opt for a major courses if he/she did not study it as an elective courses in 1st and 2nd semester.

Yes, if a learner wants to change an elective course during the intermediate semesters he/she should write an application (forwarded by the Study Centre) to the Registrar and the Controller of Examinations with Rs. 1000/- plus cost of the SLM (Rs. 75/- per booklet for , undergraduate and graduate programmes; and Rs. 150/- for post-graduate programmes) along with the original mark sheets received. However, it is to be noted that any request for subject change will not be entertained after Second Semester.

If a learner wants to give up the major course after the result of the 3rd semester examination, he/she should write an application (forwarded by the Study Centre) addressed to the Registrar with Rs. 300/-
If a learner wants to give up the major course after the result of the 4th semester examination, he/she should write an application (forwarded by the Study Centre) addressed to the Registrar with Rs. 500/-.

12. What will I do if I am not able to find a particular course under the Study Centre I have opted for?

What will I do if I am not able to find a particular course under the Study Centre I have opted for?

Since all the Study Centres do not offer all the programmes of the University, you are requested to check if the Study Centre you have opted for offers the course. In case, the Study Centre does not offer the respective course, it is suggested that you change the study centre.
However, if there are other problems in finding the course of your choice irrespective of the study centre offering that particular course, you are advised to drop a mail at the IT Cell of KKHSOU. (itcell@kkhsou.in)
